In South Africa’s Western Cape, ancient images of daily life, some of which date back 10,000 years, were created by some of the region’s first residents. And tourists are flocking there to get a glimpse.
Dawn breaks over the Cederberg Mountains and these intrepid enthusiasts are hunting a special type of treasure. Dozens of pictures have been discovered in these mountains - known as rock art, they depict life through the eyes of the bushmen who once roamed here.
